The default values are based on a full railway carbody model, accounting for model preparation, calculation run time, and results visualisation. Actual times will vary with model size, number of load cases, and weld count. As a reference: very large models (over 1.5 million elements, up to 500 load combinations) typically run in 30–60 1 minutes; medium-sized models in 10–20 1 minutes; and smaller models in seconds.
Need to readjust a weld definitions? change local areas of your design? Adapt to new material strengths? A few clicks in your FEM pre-processor of choice, a short re-run and your results are updated — typically within minutes, always within the hour.
